John Paul College is a unique Catholic co-educational secondary college in Frankston. As principal of the College, I take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to explore all that our wonderful College offers. Comprehensive information about John Paul College is included on this website and I encourage you to take a tour of our College and meet our students and staff to learn more.
John Paul College is a well-established Catholic school providing excellent teaching and facilities for academic pursuits, sports, music and the arts. The College was founded in 1979 in the merging of two two single gender Catholic schools on this site, Stella Maris fcJ College for girls (established in 1968) and Marianist College for boys (1973).
Our College has a rich heritage in the tradition of the fcJ sisters and the Marianist order. These men and women were instrumental in establishing a community inspired by faith in the good news of Jesus. We are inspired to continue the journey of faith and are nurtured by the charisms of these two orders.
John Paul College provides a comprehensive secondary education in a Catholic environment. It is a place where students feel safe and that they belong, a place where students’ individual strengths are nurtured and developed and a place where faith and a sense of community are fundamental to who we are. This is how we live out our mission: With Him is the fullness of life. A John Paul College student knows who they are and what they intend to contribute to their community and the world.
Our College is governed by a Board that comprises parents, parish priests and staff representatives. It is the students, staff and parents that comprise our College community that make our school a wonderful place to be. I encourage you to visit us to see what makes us unique.
