40 Year Celebration

40 Year Celebration

Celebrating the history of John Paul College

On Saturday 26th October Alumni and past and current staff gathered at the College to celebrate 40 years of John Paul College.
The College was scattered with photographs and videos from not only the past 40 years, but also before JPC, the time of Stella Maris and Marianist College.

Guests attended Mass, took a self-guided tour of the College, enjoy food trucks, jumping castle and photo booth and listened to speeches from Principal John Visentin, past Principals Br Don Neff, Dr Liam Davison and a video from Jane Tibb.
It was great to see the John Paul College community come together, celebrate, reunite and reminisce.

Thank you to all guests who attended our 40 Year celebration.

The Origins of John Paul College

While John Paul College celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, the history of the College goes well beyond those years.

The College was born when two single-gender Catholic schools merged, Stella Maris College (girls) and Marianist College (boys), creating a new co-educational Catholic College for students in the Frankston area.

1979 saw John Paul College take it's place and securing it for the next 40 years.
