From the 12th - 16th August students and staff celebrated National Science Week.
The 2019 theme for the week was "Destination Moon: More Missions, More Science".
Throughout the week at lunchtime, the Resource Centre hosted a variety of fun space-themed activities.
Students participated in fun space-themed science activities such as launching mini rockets, using VR headsets to explore the moon, creating calming space slime and building UFOs.
National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology. It is a great opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of Australian scientists’ to the world of knowledge. It also aims to encourage students to become fascinated by the world we live in.
