  • JPC hosts Italian Exchange Students

    JPC hosts Italian Exchange Students

    Last week the College hosted students and teachers from our sister school in Cortina, Italy. The exchange project saw JPC students and staff host our Italian guests for just over a week. During the week our Italian students experienced secondary school life in Australia and were able to enjoy a variety of activities including a day trip to Queenscliff, Phillip Island, Gumbuya World, Cape Schank and Sorrento.

    School Sport Victoria (SSV)

    John Paul College is an affiliate member of School Sport Victoria which allows our students to be eligible to trial for School Sport Victoria State Teams (Team Vic).

    Being an affiliate member, enables John Paul College students access to participation opportunities in interschool sport and over 900 opportunities to represent Victoria (Team Vic) at School Sport Australia Championships.

    Congratulations to Dylan D'Souza - 2019 College Dux

    Congratulations to Dylan D’Souza who was yesterday presented with the 2019 John Paul College Dux award at the first assembly for 2020 for his outstanding ATAR of 98.40. Dylan studied VCE Units 3 and 4 Physics and Biology in year 11 during 2018 and added English, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and Chemistry as his 2019 VCE Unit 3 and 4 subjects. Dylan’s academic achievements include receiving Certificates of Merit and Academic Excellence Awards during each of his years at John Paul College.

    Updating medical information on Parent Access Module (PAM)

    John Paul College is asking families to provide accurate and up to date medical information for your child/children via Parent Access Module (PAM). 

    The SIMON/PAM system will then be used by the College to seek permission for any excursions and other events where parental permission is required.

    Year 8 Camp

    This year for the Year 8 Camp, we ventured off to Alexandra Adventure Resort.

    It was a great opportunity for us to step out of our comfort zones and make new friends. Some of the activities included: the giant swing, the leap of faith, high ropes course and the flying fox.
