Senior School

The senior classes cover students in Years 10, 11 and 12. Over these three years, students embark on a learning journey that includes the:

  • Year 10 Curriculum
  • Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE)
  • Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL)
  • Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Year 10 students study a combination of core and elective units. Core units include Religious Education, English or VCE Foundation English Units 1 and 2, Mathematics, Science, Careers and Fit for Life. An exciting range of elective units are offered as detailed in the student handbook. Year 10 students also have the opportunity to commence a VCE unit and/or VET certificate.

 

Students in Years 11 and 12 elect to study the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL). Students may also choose to undertake a Vocational Education and Training Certificate.

Additional features of the curriculum are programs which assist students with special needs either in support or extra challenge. The college also has a comprehensive career planning and course selection program.General class sizes for Years 7 to 10 total twenty nine students per class, however a maximum of twenty-five students are enrolled for practical classes. VCE class sizes average twenty-five students.
