John Paul College is a Catholic co-educational secondary college in Frankston. As principal of the college, I take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to our website. Comprehensive information about John Paul College is included here and I encourage you to take a tour of our college through this website. Our school is a special place to be, providing excellent teaching and facilities for academic pursuits, sports, music and the arts.
Whilst John Paul College is a well established Catholic school in the Frankston area, its heritage goes back to two single sex Catholic schools on this site. Stella Maris fcJ College for girls was established forty years ago and Marianist College for boys a few years later.
Our College has a rich heritage in the tradition of the fcJ sisters and the Marianist order. They were instrumental in establishing a community inspired by faith in the good news of Jesus. We are inspired to continue the journey of faith and are nurtured by the charisms of these two orders.
John Paul College provides a comprehensive secondary education in a Catholic environment. It is a place where students feel safe and that they belong, a place where students’ individual strengths are nurtured and developed and a place where faith and a sense of community are fundamental to who we are. This is how we live out our mission: With Him is the fullness of life. A John Paul College person knows who they are and what they intend to contribute to their community and the world.
Our College is governed by a Board that comprises parents, parish priests and staff representatives. We welcome parent involvement in the College. The students, staff and parents that comprise our college community make our school a wonderful place to be.Mr John Visentin
